Yeah, thatâs understandable and maybe I did go a little too hard with my first post. I saw all the negative posts and was like, why is there so much hate on these and wanted to share my thoughts as someone who does like them.
I donât intend to sell my collection since my goal is to collect 1% of the entire collection, Iâm roughly half way there. I also love that I have seen cards that I never knew existed. There are so many crazy cards that I had no idea about, it has helped me expand my knowledge about whatâs out there. I would have never known about some of the cards that I have been pulled if it wasnât for this collection.
Itâs just really cool seeing some awesome cards out there, like this card, who knew such a card even existed!
I think people would respect you more if you were just honest and say youâre buying these for flipping. I donât get why youâre trying to spin this as some type of must have purist collection.

My statement about me not selling the vast majority of my collection is still true regardless of whether or not I have a few of my cards on eBay. I have 5-7 world record cards out of 250 on eBay. Every collector knows they canât collect everything, you ultimately have to decide what to go after and I have a certain set Iâm going after. So of course Iâm going to list a few of my big cards for sale.
Secondly, you donât know what the market is until you actually list something, I purposely priced them high so that I can understand what types of offers Iâm getting. If you wanna fault me for that then okay.

I think when it comes down to it as long as there is people out there left to be taken advantage of, things like this will sell is the takeaway Im getting.
The market is priced super high, people are taking any and all avenues to gain a profit, and when others tell people to âadaptâ to the current market or trend its their own way of being manipulative while others that really care about the cards (and not the market) are hit with the bystander effect.
This doesnt just apply to this thread, so take that with what you will. People are getting wiser though, and again I hope people buy what they want, and dont give into FOMO.
