Lol. I don’t want to hijack the thread so I’ll leave my shows just as a list and if anyone wants to know my opinion on them I’m happy to share here or in pm. (Sorry, responding to the part I missed earlier). Veep is hilarious. It’s all about how fake everything in politics is and how no one in power knows what they’re really doing. Everyone is just winging it. It’s a great satire.
I will let you decide! I will say I had to finish it to know what happens. But it’s just a different feeling than season 1. Plus Matthew McConagal (jk/sp?) had a great character that I don’t think season 2 had in the same way.
I shook Kenan Thompson’s hand last week. It was pretty awesome since I’ve been oddly craving to watch Heavyweights.
Favorite *Netflix show is House of Cards. It’s the only show I binge watch.
Off Netflix, I casually watch the show Billions. High Finance is a different world and the show is somewhat accurate. It’s all live sporting events beyond these two.
Formerly, I would watch Big Bang Theory, 2 and a Half Men, and Modern Family regularly. Now, it’s just when they’re on.
House of Cards was one I binged too. It only gets better as it goes. This last season was the best imho. My only qualm is how intense all of their lives are. Like their stress level seems to be at a constant 100% (although I guess they kind of address it in the last season too, so maybe I shouldn’t complain)
Big Bang Theory is also one of my favorites. Does it stream anywhere? I only catch re-runs on tv too.
Also, I forgot to add Black Mirror to my Netflix list. It’s like a modern day Twilight Zone. It’s really good.
I’d agree their level of stress is appropriate. I’ve been exposed to several career tracks where the stress level is similar. There’s always one ‘crisis’ after another. Much of the work happens behind the scenes, and the pressure involved always feels like the end of the world.
Theres is a couple of really good shows that came out not long ago… One i havnt seen yet, but one i started watching… Ones a sci fi thriller drama about what the world would be like if hitler the dicatatorest shit fest won the war, and he has parkinsons from to much speed which makes sense… but also another is a sci fi drama mystery about j f kennedington time something.

Just watched nightcrawler last night. I liked it a lot. The wife didn’t like the main character so wasn’t a big fan of it, not that I thought he was likable, I just thought the character was well developed and well played by Gyllenhaal.
I agree with you. I kinda liked Gyllenhaal’s character because to me he comes off as funny rather than harsh or annoying, I think many actors would not be able to pull off as well as he did. Solid movie.
Just finished the first season of bloodline on Netflix, I enjoyed it quite a lot but I just wish all of the episodes had been as action packed as the last! Hopefully I carries on being so hectic in season 2.
