Need Help Identifying Baseball Card!

Hey guys!
My grandfather is a baseball card collector, and we came across this Kirby Puckett card. It seems to have a “ghost stamp” that says “Authentic 2003 Signature” in the lower left corner. I didn’t even see this until looking at the card for the fourth or fifth time. I’ve checked eBay and Google and cannot seem to find any information about it. The copyright date on the back is 1986, so I have no idea where this card even came from other than it’s most likely a reprint of a 1986/87 card!

Is it actually autographed? Is it fake? Is it an error!? Any insight or help would be much appreciated!

Definitely looks like Puckett’s Signature. I know he died about 10 years ago and he is a Hall of Famer

What sports products will do for certain products is include old cards in packs of new product.

This card was released in 1987, Donruss have had the card signed by Puckett, given it the embossing and the “Recollection Collection” stamp and inserted it in 2003 product. Th 1/3 means there’s 3 copies of this card redistributed in this way.
