My Darkrai & Totodile Collection (WIP)

Hello Everyone! Hope you are having a fantastic day!

I wanted to share my current Darkrai & Totodile English card collection as I am trying to master set both species. Keep in mind that these are both very small as I only just started them in the past 2 months. (No where as big as Doomrai’s Collection)

Before we jump in though, I want to give some background on why I chose to collect these specific mons!

  • For Darkrai, it was actually The Rise of Darkrai Movie that sparked my interest in Darkrai. I was very young when I first saw the movie and Darkrai has always stuck with me since!

  • As for Totodile, Pokémon SoulSilver was actually my first ever Pokémon game I ever owned & played! I have my original save file backed up on my computer and a flash drive (as I wanted to restart and shiny hunt the GOAT) and I named him T-Rexy!

With that, I’d love to share with you my current collection!!!

Starting with my current Darkrai collection:

Like I said, it’s very small at the moment because I am saving many of the big ones to possibly find at a card show that I am going to early July. (will be my first one too!)

And moving on to my current Totodile collection:

Just like my Darkrai collection, it is very small but I do have some cards both from Ebay and TCG Player on the way. Also hoping to potentially find some at the same card show!

Alongside all that are my non TCG related Totodile Items!

First is my PSA 9 Ace of Diamonds Playing card:

Second, my shiny Totodile in Pokemon GO that I bought off Ebay for like $1:

And lastly, I do own the Mega Blocks Totodile but it is currently at my College Apartment and I don’t have a picture of mine:

I still have a lot of progress to make towards both English Master sets but I am excited for the day I do complete them both! And who knows, I might move on to mastering Croconaw & Feraligatr :eyes:

There’s also some Japanese versions of both Darkrai & Totodile that I want to collect but those are more end goal items.

Such a great collection, Darkrai and Totodile are wonderful Pokemon. I can’t wait to see you continue to post! Definitely share what you pick up at the card show in July :smiley:

Thank you and I definitely will!

I’ve got some cards coming in the mail over the next couple of weeks (as well as a Totodile plush that my GF bought me)

Will update when I get them all in!! :smirking_face:

That PSA 9 Ace of Diamonds Playing card is amazing! I’ve always loved seeing any of the playing cards, and to have them graded is so cool. Can’t wait to see how your collection evolves. Also: I see your good binder behavior!

Yup, I wanted to get one in PSA 10 but unfortunately I lost a bid for it and just decided to get a 9. My goal is to get all the Johto starters in 10’s or 9’s but it’s hard to find them for good prices.

And I actuarially just got some dragon shield card sleeves to match my Totodile collection just before I made the post!
