I was putting some cards into toploaders yesterday when I suddenly realized how much I enjoy the sound of toploaders being stacked.
How about you guys?
What’s your favorite sound in the hobby?

My favorite sound is the notification sound I get when ebay tells me that there is 15 minutes left in the auction.
Always so exciting!
When the mailman rings my doorbell and tells me I have a package from PSA
Personally, collecting and re-selling go hand-in-hand - I truly enjoy both aspects of the hobby equally! LOVE hearing the little “chi-ching” whenever I make a sale on eBay - that’ll never get old!
The sound when you stack raw PSA cases
Sleeving cards!
I have to agree with @pokematt : when the mailman parks in front of your house and the doorbell rings. When there is a package at my place, 90% of the time it’s for me.
It can however also be one of the worst sounds: when you are expecting an exiting card any day now, a package arrives, and it’s not for me…
Greetz,
Quuador
Well there’s a new question lol.
I love the sound (and feel) of my box cutter slicing through the tape of a newly arrived box.
I hate the stain on the carpet when I get a little careless with it lol.
Nothing to be embarrassed about, Gary. It’s a problem all of us senior citizens have to contend with.
Raw >>> Sleeved

“Hey everyone this is S M PRATTE’
When I buy a pack of cards at the same time as a young kid, and we both open our packs in store. I pull a rare chase card and he pulls nothing.
My favourite sound is the parent saying no to buying another pack for them.
Also, “Hey guys, Gem Mint Pokemon here…”
Have learned a lot from both of them
When my can of coke clinks my psa 7 cards which i use as coasters.
The crinkley squeaks of a booster pack
The sound of a psa 9 case cracking because it should’ve been a 10 because my wallet says so

Wooosh
The gentle clasp when the two magnets meet on a one touch slab.
