Hi all, just curious as to what every thinks about the modern sets coming out with super high print quality?
Looking at the PSA pop reports, Japanese sets are basically getting gem mint (PSA 10) quality on about 90% of all card submissions. English cards are getting gem mint on about 50-65% of all card submissions. This is staggering when you compare to the WoTC era where many of the sought after holo cards from gen 1, 2 grade at gem mint at the rate of about 5-20%.
I personally think this helps the older sets, as this generation, because of the high print runs and amazing quality, will not be much of a chase…
