Massive delays USPS, Never before seen tracking status.

Same here, first time I’m having issues with usps delivery times.

Bought psa card 2 weeks ago from american seller, the letter is still in USA waiting its turn to be shipped abroad. >< Fingers crossed it reaches Finland next week.

Here’s what I found on Polish Post site, it’s from 6th February:

Delays in delivery of postal items in the US

Due to extreme weather conditions in the United States and a very large increase of mail volumes from the whole world to this country in January and February of this year, Poczta Polska kindly informs that there may be delays in the delivery of postal items in the United States.

These delays mainly result from the possibilities of the reception and storage of mail received in New York and Chicago, major airports in the United States receiving mail from all over the world, including Poland, as well as volume restrictions on carriage made by airlines transporting the mail to the US forced to do this due to problems at the airports of the United States as well as transit ports.

And here’s news from 25th February:

Further to the announcement dated 6 February, Poczta Polska kindly informs that USPS – the delivery postal operator in the United States has advised that necessary steps are taken to minimize delays in the exchange office in New York. Despite the introduction of additional solutions in the process there is still a backlog in receiving mail from the air carriers.

Last Week I decided to bite the bullet and do a test ordering something and choosing Express Mail, which is guaranteed 1 day delivery, to see if I would actually get it in 1 day. After 2 days the tracking information said delayed, and it was delivered on the 3rd day. I have yet to call ups to se if they will give me a refund for the shipping costs, but I doubt that uncle sam is gonna give up a dime of that shit.

I have never been turned down for a refund on a delayed Express mailer and I’ve had many. That’s international and domestic.

Could it be customs?

Could you check tracking in your country? It should show you more informations, at least that’s how it works here in Poland.
Although it’s pretty weird to hold package for 17 days on customs…

Guys I can’t believe but just minute ago I received e-mail from USPS Shipping info about package I sent on 17th February that it’s status has been updated, but it’s really weird:

I don’t know about it^ The weird thing is that they scanned package on 26th February, but tracking has been updated today - after 20 days. I was going to file a claim on my post office tomorrow anyway.

Make sure you fight this. They can and will give you a refund if you jump through the hoops.

I did this two years ago since my package was delayed a month, and my buyer had to drive 30 minutes to pick it up.
