You could also open the sealed-baggie (if it has such) and stick in an acid absorbing paper (like those sold as comic book backings). The comic book backings are made to absorb just such acid to preserve comics - so it would work for magazines as well.

I’ve got copies of the now 13-year-old “Shining Mew” Corocoro issue sealed in standard polypropylene bags, and the last time I checked (about three months ago) there didn’t seem to be any damage whatsoever. (They are kept in a box sealed from light, though.)
