Got back into collecting with Hidden Fates. So I have a complete master set. Than I loved the rarity and design of the new rainbow hyper rares so I bought all of those as well from every set. Than I decided how can I not have base set. So I got all the Holo’s from base set. I really wanted first editions but price per was very high. Than I bought all the jungle and fossil holo’s all in first edition (still surprised how cheap they were!!) Than I got all the first edition holo’s from Team Rocket Gym Challenge and Gym Heroes. Skipped the Neo sets but definitely coming back to these very soon especially the shining cards!! Currently collecting all the crystal cards from Aquapolis and Skyridge. When does it end? Hahahaha gotta love collecting

Sounds like your going all in! It’s a good time to go for those crystal cards (when is it not). Looking out for the Skyridge ones myself. For your question:

See Neo Destiny is a great set but when I looked into ordering I noticed Crystal cards are a lot harder to come by so why not bang those out first. Than all the high priced shining cards and Gold Stars are going to hurt but be so worth it!! I bought the Kabutops and Ho-OH. So far Skyridge Charizard is this week!!
Nice work! Sounds like you’ve made a great dent into a lot of cards . The Neos are pretty expensive at the moment, but I’m not sure whether that’ll change (they’ll probably go up lol) so you might be better off getting those Shining Cards first!
It ends at master setting every set haha, but then sets keep coming out, so it never ends

That is definitely true and I’m also still trying to decide whether or not to go for First edition in Neo sets because of price point on let’s say Shining Charizard or Shining Tyranitar. Cheapest I’m finding charizard in good condition is near mint for $1100 or near mint Tyranitar for $400 I’d definitely be kool settling for a moderate played on both for a reasonable amount that doesn’t hit the bank too hard. I’m getting ready to pay $450 for Crystal Charizard but at least it’s the only crystal worth more than $200 I’m buying out of the Crystals. But once Crystals are done Shinings are next step and I’ll probably bite the bullet and get first editions so I don’t regret it later. Also 32 Holo’s in some of those sets sounds even more pricey but will get done haha. And for new sets I think I’m going to wait till the next series comes out. I already finished sun and moon but might wait a year or two for Sword and shield

Ya I got the pm. I am open to buying cards off here but it’s a little complicated for my liking. And I’m going in a specific order. So The rest of the Crystals cards besides Kabutops and Ho-OH is what I’m buying now. Than all Shining 1st editions. Can’t wait to buy Crystal Charizard this week. I have a great site I love to buy off of because there is a ton of sellers and competitive market
Finished all 1st edition Shining Cards and E series Crystal Cards onto Neo 1st edition holo’s now!! Also my 1st edition Shining Tyranitar PSA 8.5 is 1 of 4 in the world!! That’s always a great feeling. Been loving getting back into collecting!! My 1st edition Shining Charizard is my most value card I now own and I’ll get it PSa graded eventually. Just hoping for a modest 7 or better but even if not it’s just a one of a kind beautiful card!!!
Congrats! Those are some big wins! You happen to pick up the Crystal Charizard on ebay? was a PSA 5 I believe. I was eying that one last week! haha

If I would do a set collection, I would go for all wotc cards, and all japanese exclusives, before gen 3 was released.

Yup i bought Crystal Charizard off a Canadian on eBay. It was listed for $275 with $15 shipping I offered $250 the seller said $300 which was in Canadian when I did the math I only had to pay $225 for it which is a steal. Worth $450 and it’s a ungraded one looks like a PSa 7. But the seller sent me the wrong tracking number and just now gave me the right tracking. So it turned into a slight nightmare for a few days but I’ll have it soon it’s on the way now

I sent pictures to my buddy on here by email I still have to figure out a easy way to load pictures. Everyone tells me the app but my phone can’t take another app because it’s old haha. But I’ll figure out a easy way of doing it. I still have to change my profile pic but I love Pikachu and the Shining Tyranitar avatar they gave before that and i don’t mind people thinking I’m a rookie haha because in a way I definitely am because i just got back into collecting in December but I’m very dedicated and completing tons of goals fast because i have a decent amount of capital as long as I don’t buy all PSa cards. Don’t get me wrong I love PSa cards but it’s hard to afford 1st edition and PSa premium on over a thousand cards plus I intend to collect haha I’m sure others would agree to budgets
