After the disappointment of realising my first green wing booster box was indeed not shadowless, the hunt began. I spent countless evenings scouring the internet to try and find a clear wrapped green wing box. I found a stock image of one on a companies website and enquired about it. I almost didn’t get an answer to my specific questions re the box, they were almost unwilling to ship it overseas, and I almost couldn’t afford to pay the import and handling duties when it did arrive! But it arrived, and it was more perfect than I hoped it would be! The pinnacle of my collection. The clear wrapped shadowless booster box.
I still have the email chain between me and the employee I was dealing with, and reading it now still makes my heart palpitate with stress!
After satisfying my shadowless collection goals, I then wanted to make sure that I had a set of the first English language release of the Pokémon tcg. Looking back I wish I’d not been content, and kept on collecting more shadowless as well, but hindsight is a wonderful thing!
I really, really admire the quality and simplicity of your collection! The lack of connoisseurship, sometimes, attributed to simply enjoying Base Set is unfair. This uncompromising focus should be applauded!
