Lugia vs Ho-oh

Honestly i like them both, but my favourite card ever is the Lugia in the storm with the fisherman and for that reason Lugia rules

Lugia>Ho-Oh imo

but tbh both their lore is pretty lackluster(Gen 2 legendaries in a nutshell have this issue) so neither really wins in either part. Design wise lugia just looks cooler and unique compared Ho-Oh in general.

So, would Lugia have feathers in the “Detective pikachu” style, or dolphin skin?

Here is a little known fact. Lugia is the one who composed and plays the music for Approaching Cynthia. If you hack the game and go out of bounds you will see lugia playing the piano just off screen.

Pretty much head on. Some real Ho-oh love going on here.

They’re both cool, but I do prefer Ho-Oh.

Something about it is just really appealing to me.

Lugia is definitely more impressive as a Pokémon, but Ho-Oh is just quite neat.

Lugia’s hand-wings are a crime against humanity.

I definitely liked Lugia more as a kid due to playing endless hours of Pokemon Silver on my Gameboy. As an adult though I like Ho-ohs design more, as well as more Ho-oh card arts.

Ho-oh resembles a turkey way to much for my liking. Whereas Lugia looks majestic and sleek. I think that’s the case for most people.

Design-wise I like Ho-Oh more. But since the second Pokémon movie is my personal favorite, nostalgia plays a big role here, and I therefore voted Both, aka ‘Can’t choose’. :person_shrugging:

Woah. The poll disagrees with you. Unless by most you mean 51 percent.

Lugia. The fact that it wasn’t even supposed to exist in the main canon has always been super cool to me.
