Looking for info on European EX Era Winner Stamp Promos (French, Italian, German)

Hello all,

I’m looking for information on Winner stamped promos from the EX era in non-English languages. I’m working on a side collection of these as I’ve largely hit a wall when it comes to Torchic (pretty much all I’m missing are “unfindable” cards, specific EX codes for a few cards, Asian deck cards, and the Mewtwo jumbo cameo).

Thanks to a wonderful article by Tapp, I’ve managed to learn a bit about how these cards were distributed in English. However, I have a few gaps in my knowledge when it comes to European languages that I have failed to fill which I need y’all’s help on. If you want some perspective on how obscure info about these are, Bulbapedia says that these cards do not exist.

For French, I have confirmed that the Grovyle, Marshtomp, and Combusken cards exist (with stamp “GAGNANT”, and I have purchased one of each).

Poképedia says that none of the other cards were ever released in French other than Flygon Promo 25. However, I cannot find the winner stamp of this card in French (plenty out there without the winner stamp, which I have purchased one of). If the version without the winner stamp was the only one released in French, how was it released (as I believe in English they were given out at the same tournaments/leagues as the winner stamps)?

For German and Italian, I have not found any evidence of the Flygon card existing in any form. French exclusive then? If so, are there any other language exclusives that I’m missing?

I have similarly confirmed the existence of and purchased the Grovyle, Marshtomp, and Combusken cards in German (with stamp “SIEGER”). However, Italian has been a different story- these cards are shockingly elusive. I have searched for HOURS and I have only managed to find and purchase Italian Grovyle (with stamp “VINCITORE”). After several months of waiting, a Cardmarket listing for Combusken appeared that immediately sold before I could get to it (I was only 40 minutes late!). I got a picture of the Combusken off of the seller, which is below. I recently managed to find a seller of Italian Marshtomp from Italian Facebook but his prices were delusional with no sensible reasoning. I have attached the image I got from him below.

As for other league promos from the time, I am still looking to buy Mudkip Promo 5 in German and French, Treecko Promo 7 in French, Torchic promo 8 in Italian, and the Energy/Berry Jumbo cards in English if anybody has any leads :pensive_face:

Did you use/look at Cardmarket??? All European languages are on there.

Looking at the Pop reports on some of these trophy cards I wouldn’t be surprised if they did exist, but they’re so rare that it’ll be awhile before they’re listed.

Ex: German sieger combusken hasn’t been graded before

Can you attach pics of the torchics you’re looking for? I’ll keep an eye out for you

Updated with the discovery that Italian Combusken does exist (so Italian Marshtomp likely does too) and with scans of the cards that I have in hand. I still need a picture of Italian Marshtomp as well as ANY information on distribution.

I should be getting the rest I’ve purchased sent to me from friends in the EU in the next month or so.

Updated with picture of Italian Marshtomp. I found a seller with one, but unfortunately, his price and logic behind his price were beyond delusional.

Updated with even more progress images as I finally got my French combusken and marshtomp in as well as Italian marshtomp.

All I’m missing to finish this set is Italian combusken and to get my English marshtomp sent to me from a friend in Europe. Please let me know if anyone has any leads on the combusken!
