Hi,
Are there any magazines, comics, handbooks or guides that have a limited print run? Would basically be similar to tournament participation prizes, promos or awards on the card side where it was only issued to a limited number of people at an event or through a mail in contest. Looking for Pokemon artwork on the cover or the event listed on the cover not just the inside pages. All I’ve been able to find is the Grand Party passports that you had to fill out to get the card or the PSA Charizard mag /100 or 1000.

These two books below were distributed in a lottery through the Daisuke Club.
There are 200 copies of each (each winner received both books).

You might also be interested in Game Freak Doujin which are only limited in release due to the distribution. These were official GameFreak magazines made by Satoshi Tajiri and Ken Sugimori (later on) before pokemon was released. And few were made afterwards that do feature pokemon. These later anniversary releases were only given to GameFreak Employees and are extremely limited.

These very occasionally pop up on Japanese marketplaces and are purchased almost immediately.

Do you know which later issue numbers have Pokemon on the cover?
If you are going to be hunting these you should start researching yourself
