Pokemon (Pocket Monsters) Books: Manga/Tankobon Magazine/Zasshi Comic Books CoroCoro Other Supplements Pamphlets N More

Forgotten Pokemon (Pocket Monsters) Books: Manga / Magazines / CoroCoro Supplement / Pamphlets / Miscellaneous

Comic Buyers Guide #1358 VG - Excellent: There was a similar cover art for a book where you would search for Pokemon this one is slightly harder to find.

Comic Buyers Guide #1299 VG - Excellent: This one reminds me of that really old TV commercial maybe it is from that I had no idea honestly but its really a Nostalgia trip for me pictures don’t do it justice! Like many things in life.

Manga Max Magazine - Newspaper Size Obscure

These are both Newspaper style very different than any of my other Magazines or Comics Extra Jumbo or XXL

Viz Shop By Mail Order Exclusive 1999 Fine- VF : Another Obscure One just as ‘Rare’ as the above newspapers of course condition matters

Viz Mini Comic VHS Red Version Signature Edition harder to find compared to the generic ones that were mass produced there is also a Blue version which I cant seem to find clean.

Pokemon Ciao Manga Ghost Type cover art this one is HP / DMG I own two copies another in much better shape.

Pocket Monsters Gag Gekijou (Chinese Version) Hard to say whats scarcer, but I only have one Chinese variant the Japanese version also for some reason had many first prints I believe this is also first print. There was also Korean and Thai I think as well produced.

Shonen Weekly 1997 Early Appearance of Pocket Monsters Zasshi. There is one guy I know from France who has some of these magazines. I only own this one will add other covers as well that I don’t own. Definitely has provenance considering how old they are ‘IMO’ . Capsule Monsters early art is another good example of early provenance.

These are more of the Shonen Weekly’s I am searching for still along with other random provenance type magazines stock photos I took a while ago while hunting.

Pokemon mini book VHS Blue Version Signature Edition I passed the chance to purchase this a year or so ago these are the rarer ones of the set. Glad someone else grabbed it the signature adds a cool touch

How To Draw A Pokemon: Media Factory 1998 Overisized XXL. It reminds me of a magazine I have from the early artists from Hanna Barberra showing in depth drawings. Hand drawn is always best I think pencil and paper. Then add colors if desired.

Pokemon CoroCoro Magazine 2005 includes insert which adds the rarity Shadow Lugia I would like to have one out of the magazine removed but I doubt finding one is very difficult.

Junior Science Fiction #2 Pokemon Appearance (Pocket Monsters)

Junior Science Fiction #1 DBZ (Dragon Ball Z) Appearance

Poor Condition 1st Print 4-Koma Gag typical tape inside which does kill grade value none the less I wanted to show what a common 1st Print “played” example

Shogakukan Special Book I’m still searching for more information there’s is another very similar elusive type book very relevant to this one slightly different also an appendix or supplement?

CoroCoro Manga HG/SS Supplement. Unsure what issue or distribution

This is a really important Photo collection actual photos of one of the rarest sets Chuang yi Pippi Pokemon 1-10 with actual photos. https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/comments/r77oqz/is_magical_pokemon_journey_lost_media/

Some of the most elusive manga’s alongside many others but for English these are up there with PM Set & Other Chuag Yi’s of course condition matters which is typically poor.

The above photo of the Pippi Set ’Chuang Yi’ is not my set this guy is possible the only one if not a small handful who own the complete set he posted on Reddit.

Amazing collection - thanks for sharing!

I recently got into collecting 小学六年生 magazines, namely anything Tamamushi related and had a few nice pickups on Buyee. Do you know if there are other avenues to consider where I can find these except for what is available on Buyee?
