First off I just want to thank you kingboo64 for even hosting such a kind giveaway during these rough times, I really appreciate it. Getting that one card you’ve sought for, for so long is such a wonderful experience and I’m glad you were able to have that during these times!
Regarding the giveaway:
Base Set: Bulbasaur (THE 30K MONEY MAKING MACHINE, Bulbasaur is my favorite pokemon so there’s some bias here, but it seriously remains as one of the best arts of bulbasaur for me and the “bugs” in the art were a nice “easter egg” to me as a kid )
WOTC era: Dark Flareon (I just love this fluffy ball of “evil” or “dark” haha, he’s so adorable floating in space! )
Congratulations on the find! It’s an amazing feeling when you acquire something you’d resigned yourself to never being able to.
Favourite Base Set card: At the moment it has to be Charmander, I just love the playfulness of him accidentally setting the grass on fire, feels like a rare amount of personality/interaction for the set.
Favourite WOTC card: Fossil Dragonite (holo), just a beautiful object, the rainbow holo is amazing.
Thanks for hosting a giveaway My favorite card from Base Set is Dragonair. My overall favorite WOTC card is so difficult to pick, but let’s say Neo Revelation Houndoom for some variety
My favorite base set card is obviously Dragonair. You cannot beat the rainbow background. Probably one of my favorite cards of all time.
As for favorite WOTC Era card, it is 110% Fossil 1999-2000 Zapdos. This card has to be my favorite because it’s what got me back into the hobby. I wanted to be unique and collect something people didn’t care for but also wanted to collect the orignal sets since I wasn’t alive at the time (I know this dates me). So I chose this card to start with. My copy isn’t perfect but it’s mine and I love it. This was also before everyone else fell in love with this set so I like to think I had something to do with it

My favourite card from base set is probably Arcanine, I feel like he should of been a rare at the very least though, A holo base set Arcanine would of been cool!
My favourite WOTC card would have to be Dark Charizard from Team Rocket, I have always loved that card since i was a kid.
Everyone has been added! I see base set dragonair is a favorite of many, I personally like gyarados, machamp and Charizard the best with my favorite WoTC card being non holo Sabrina’s Gengar, which unlike most copy paste sugimoris has a really well done background

My favourite base set card is either base set Bulbasaur or Venusaur. Really hard to pick one of the two, but I really like Arita’s early art style and those are my favourite gen 1 Pokemon.
My favourite wotc card in general is Crystal Ho-Oh. I love Skyridge/Aquapolis, Ho-Oh and Lugia are my favourite Pokemon, the crystals are amazing. It all lines up for me
