Kanto Friends Mini Tins/ Tag Team Tins

These are up on the US Pokemon site now! Each comes with two booster packs, a coin, and beautiful artwork. I remember a while back someone posted a picture of this artwork from a news site, but it wasn’t clear how it was going to be used. I’m definitely picking up one of each of these tins to keep sealed, and maybe a second Squirtle/Magikarp tin to open and put stuff in.

They also have the new Tag Team Tins up with the rest of the Tag Bolt GXs we didn’t get before in English, but the prices on the site have seemed to increase another $5.00 while still giving the same contents as previous tins.

I really hope they would release a playmat with the full artwork. It is such a masterpiece.

The art is great, I was really hoping for a promo in each tin with the tin cover art. Finally, a great chance for an English promo… and they miss.

Are these going to be available in retail stores? I’m ordering some to keep sealed also but I feel like these are nice little gifts to pickup too

@charizandrew I couldn’t agree more. Promos with the cover art would have been superb.
I mean, the art is already there.

Make them full arts and sell them for $15 a tin and they are sold out in hours.

I will probably get one of each anyways, they just look too good. :grin:

Looks like all the Kanto tins + the Zekrom/Pikachu tin are now sold out. Hopefully we’ll see these in retail as well.
