I think I probably actually did wait for quite some time before I sold them. EX era was the era that I was really into Pokemon as a kid, but didnāt have as much cash, so it always had a special spot in my heart. It was always like the whole ākid shoves face against mirror of store, looking at EX era packs, but can never afford themā kind of feeling to be growing up haha.

Hey Tapp! thank you so much for the comment. Indeed, it felt very bittersweet with a lot of emotions mixed up as I was preparing this part of my collection for sale. I am also humbled and happy to hear that you find it cool that Pokemon cards changed my life. I will still continue to collect but weāre in such a different Pokemon hobby scene now as opposed to 15 - 20 years ago. Thank you so much once again. Chris.

I still keep in contact with a lot of the OGs. I had kept in contact with PrimetimePokemon, Arcanine88, WaterAndGrass and a few others through Facebook but over the years we lost contact with the occasional ālikeā on each otherās post. Hey joer! Thank you so much for commenting. A few months ago, there were some things that were going on in my personal life that resulted in me making my YouTube channel private. I actually just spent like 10 minutes after typing that out to try and restore the videos, but for some reason itās harder to make them public again than to make them private in the first place! Iāll have a look at it next time and probably make them public one by one (though thereās hundreds!). But, I just want to say thank you for the thoughtful message. I am happy to hear that you are at a position where you do not need to think about value too much. I was in a similar situation when I decided to sell so this is still pretty much a surprise to myself and my mind that I am still processing. I hope you have a beautiful trip around the world - I know you will get there Chris.
