4 ARs per box still is crazily low considering the sheer amount of ARs per box. I am curious about single prices in Japan in a couple of months, because so far the ARs have been really affordable.
4 from 72 per set, accumulation will be easier over time than the shiny High Class sets as people go through tonnes of boxes

that’s exactly what i like about collecting the tcg. Rehabilitating and making shine forgotten/neglected/despised pokemons…basically giving them love, i discovered and learned to appreciate many of them because of the focus given by some great card illustration. I don’t know seismitoad but Shinji’s Kanda’s art is once again the best card in the set, and that gives me favorable a priori about this pokemon whereas if I had discovered it through the games i would most likely rejected it as most people.

This is the best set ever made for Pokemon. I love how the hype died with horrendous team rocket and now that a lot of people turned away from scalping the hobby we get this

I’m likely alone in this, but in case anyone else was wondering whether this:
in the Vanilluxe artwork:
is a vague grandma with hair-bun watching from the window, or just one of the many snowflakes falling from the sky. It kinda resembled a grandma in my eyes, and since it looked off compared to the many other snowflakes, I wasn’t sure whether to add it to my FA Supporter/CHR collection.
The answer would be: it’s neither. It’s one of the snow-flakes that’s always hovering around Vanilluxe’s body:
