This is my own list of the amount of character features Pokemon cards (Pokemon cards containing a human cameo) and frequency per set.

The addition of the official character / character secrets has definitely boosted this - why Sword and Shield Era has so many more. But it was a theme toyed about in other sets, notably the Ash vs Team Rocket.

They havenā€™t gotten rid of CSRā€™s right? Or is that more reserved for High Class sets now? And shoutout @koala for solid tracking threads

Sorry for the late reply! It seems CHR & CSRs are at least on hiatus while [Special] Art Rares take over this year, but will update when they return :tea:
