There are two different sites, the one I japanese has a wider selection of pokemon cards on it but says at the bottom domestic only, I was wondering if anyone had managed to order cards non domestic from that portion of the site.

Guys, what shipping option you choose while ordering from Mandrake?
I’m asking because yesterday I found a Pikachu plush that I wanted, I add another small plushie and total was 1,500 yen (I thought that 500 yen was a shipping cost by SAL service, that’s what I paid for shipping of plush from AmiAmi). I have chosen SAL option because I thought that’s the cheapest one and today I got an invoice from them and the total is 3400 YEN!
And it’s only for one plush (Pikachu I wanted is out of stock…) which is 200 yen so what the heck?! haha. It’s not really worth it lol:
Sub total: 200 yen
Shipping Fee: 2,700 yen
Handling Fee: 500 yen
Maybe it’s because of the size of the item? It’s about 10cm tall (3 inches?) so I don’t know really.
Please let me know what’s the shipping cost for cards only, thanks!
EMS goes by dimensions and weights iirc. I think SAL is a combination of the two.
My order has been dispatched.I used dhl shiping and that costs 1000 yen.Does anyone know the cheapest shipping option to use for buying cards only?
Also do mandarake mark the price on the parcel for customs etc.
I thought the 500 yen handling charge was the shipping cost lol.
So after postage it came to £19.20 which means I will have to pay £12 in customs charges if I get done from the tax man and my bargain will not be as much of a bargain:-(
Sorry. Generally if you order from Japan, it’s required that they declare the legit value of the parcels. 1000 JPY is pretty cheap to ship out an order.
60% tax? What country do you live in? That’s absurd.
If you order anything from outside the EU to the UK you need to pay 20% tax on all orders over £15.So that would be roughly £4.Royal Mail take a £8 handiling charge as well so thats why its £12.

I am waiting for a large order from Mandarake just now,including an unlimited crystal ho oh.Once I have seen the condition of the cards I will know if I want to buy more.I got a shining mew from there yesterday and it arrived all curved.I hope the crystal ho oh will be sent in a toploader?

Cool mate I will wait and see what the cards ive ordered are like,I hope they send my no rarity crystal ho oh in a toploader, if it arrives all curved I might not bother with the eevee.I put the curved shining mew in a toploader and its beter now but still shocked it was sent without a toploader!

The fact I have a shining mew and noctowl on the way from them doesn’t fill me with confidence after reading this

Still good for the price and a great store but toploaders should be standard for all holos,never mind half decent cards like shining mew.Best thing to do is buy 50+ cards at a time and it should be much more difficult for them to get curved. Thats what ive done so hopefully it works out.Mandarake sell pokemon cards as a side product by the looks of it they sell manga art the most.
