Does anyone know the reason why japanese booster box wrap quality is all over the place? Some are really clean and tight and others are just so loose? My box of dark phantasma is really loose compared to my battle legion wrap? Only been collect japanes for 6 months so would love to hear from people that have been in the hobby longer then i have? Thanks in advance.
Because manufacturing.
Mass produced and packaged products will have variations that a production line and employees will look to control. If things fall out of tolerence, someone will work to pull things back in. Parameters tend to drift, so you’ll see a variety of wrap tightness from very tight when the line is fully in tolerence, to very loose, which is likely right before someone kicked things back in.
Same concept as centering, there’s variation in a process that’s controlled as best they can.

Thank you, im always learning about these things. Got to say this is only my second post but really loving the feedback from this forum. I got it in card kingdom in japan and just thought it was alot looser then my other boxs
