Does Japanese sealed with wrap sometimes come looser wrap?

Hey guys, I’ve been recently taking advantage of super low Japanese prices. Like 30-40 a booster box. Some to rip and some to keep sealed at that price it’s easy to have fun with. Now I’ve noticed some boxes including the same ones will have tighter wrap and then others will have loser wrap. Is that normal or risk of reseal? Not sure if that’s still an issue in 2024 especially for modern but I wanted your opinions.

Yes some sets are worse than others.

Yes, if you see JP sets on mercari/yahoo cheaper than they should be read the description and user reviews very carefully. Oftentimes the item will be listed as resealed/junk. Some sellers whole business model is buying empty boxes, filling with junk and resealing. They often either market it as “I don’t know what it is” or “this is ornamental purposes only”. I’ve also seen sellers who prey on foreign clients because there is no buyer protection. They do so by requesting that you comment before buying so that they can filter out domestic buyers
