So today was a slow day!

Spent so much time going from place to place with no luck finding any old cards what so ever!!!

And I’m still yet to see a single carddass card which makes me sad :slightly_frowning_face:

Either way picked up an unlimited crystal Charizard (MINT) and 4 blocks of random cards for 400Y a piece.

I also bought a box of xy2 cards just to have the pleasure of opening boosters since I never really get a chance.
I managed to pull 2 charizard!!! After spending 16 years and never pulling 1.

Now here comes the best part!! Opening the 400y blocks of cards :grin: results attached best $16 I ever spent. No idea what the newer stuff is worth but heaps of holos and promos I’m just happy with a sunset mew in ex/NM condition for once, I have 7 and they are all crappy :blush: it finally finishes my maccas 2 set!!

Yup 1 metre away they were selling a sunset mew in the same condition for $60 :grin:

I’m going to buy 10 blocks tomorow :grin: it’s like opening a booster box almost :stuck_out_tongue:

I can’t find them for a reasonable price anywhere. Those two cards are keeping me from a complete ADV era. D: I picked up a couple Registeel when I had the chance, so if you need that one, just let me know!

that mcdonalds mew is worthless, nice job losing money…you might as well just give it to me…

for real though, get as many of those bulk blocks as you can, open them, sleeve them up, and then sell them and they should cover airfare, hotels, food, etc :grin: those are some amazing deals and amazing luck! youll be giving brianjapan a run for his money in no time

You know what this reminds me of?

This reminds me of the excitement I used to feel back when I was first into Pokemon. Having friends gather around, open up backs, offer trades and such, be happy for other friends who got great pulls.

This has turned into such a nostalgia trip! Thank you all for being a part of it!
