I don’t think it matters if it’s overvalued at this point. Skyridge sealed product is so rare (not just scarce) that prices are almost surely not going to come down.
I kind of feel like if anything, the cards are undervalued, but as @pkmnflyingmaster said, the same logic can then be applied to the other E-Series sets.

during the E series era Pokemon cards wasnt as big as they are now. LOTS and I mean LOTS of people drifted away from Pokemon and into other card games like Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh just started hitting the waters on the western market. The artwork on Skyridge is amazing but the hype for Pokemon wasnt there like the early years of it. I remember a few card stores ordering less and less of Pokemon and more of YuGiOh to meet the demand and lots of card stores started getting rid of many pokemon products since everyone wanted more of YuGiOh. Do also remember skyrdige was the last WotC set they produced before Pokemon took it over with Ruby & Sapphire and on. Plus the collecting market for Pokemon has grown a lot in the past 10 years than before.

My favourite period. Great card art, great pack art, great colors on the boxes. Low print runs. Hard to find. Really rare and extremely hard to find sealed. In my view taking over the position as the number two box, after the wholy grail. I love the crystal cards, and are in the middle of completing a master set as well. Probably one of the most difficult sets to complete. Compare to the early wotc 
era, where you easily can complete a Fossil og Jungle set for a few hundred bucks.
