I’ve been using Fedex International Priority with success for nearly 8 years. Never had a single lost package but I do use a 3rd party insurer that is not associated with Fedex. But I never had to file a claim before, thank goodness.

Yeah I’m looking into a 3rd party insurer right now. Seems like the best bet since everyone is saying you don’t want a package labeled with a $25k bullseye shipping across the world…

FedEx international priority - will vouch for this. Don’t insure, don’t put the value as anything over a few hundred. Keep the attention low as others have said. I’ve never had anything get lost either and I’ve been using them for a while. Brilliant customer support as well.

Yeah this is consistent with what I keep hearing…don’t want it getting a ton of attention as it ships across countries. At this point if I insure I’ll go 3rd party so it’s not labeled during shipment. Appreciate the advice.

All these posts telling you to go incognito reminds me of a story. The cullian diamond, the largest in the word (still is, I believe) was transported to England with great fanfare - special box, armored elite guards, etc. However…there was no diamond in the box. It was sent in a plain brown box wrapped in twine via the postal service. Sometimes the best protection is anonymity/obscurity.
