There’s a few people on instagram talking about Scott supposedly shill bidding and doing shady things… Messaging for higher bids to bidders and doing shady stuff ect. Has anyone heard of this? KingPokemonMaster and PokemonPacific sure have some problems to immediately Spread lies and rumors about this. Anyone care to shed some light on this?? I for one am calling total BS on this and it pisses me off personally people act like this in our community

First, read this thread. Two individuals were banned from heritage for attempting to ruin this auction by shill bidding. More specifically, if anyone read Heritage’s terms and conditions, they go after anyone that does not pay; this is not ebay. Needless to say, it is not possible to shill bid with Heritage. they legally pursue anyone who does not pay. The banned bidders, who were most likely influenced by people mentioned in the op were removed immediately by heritage.
Furthermore, I recorded myself watching the live bid.

I am sure they would go after those kids for doing that. They are the real deal and screwing with their time can mean a lot.
Their Rep will go down and I am sure they won’t like that.
I hope they find out who was the people troll bidding on your item.
Thats actually pretty cool. I could see how an aucition like that can get even more intense… Without a timer at the end till noone wants to go higher… Thats really how you hurt the wallet haha

They were fortunately removed by heritage pre-live bid. Here was the thread where it was discussed. One of the individuals was the member rymcfly, they were banned from Heritage.
Heritage makes it very clear in their Terms and Conditions that they have no problem throwing the book at you for not paying.
This is a classic case of jealousy and/or bitterness.

As the community around Pokémon continues to mature and grow up, everyone is going to realize something: giving ridiculous people the time of day only hurts yourself.
There are trillions of dollars in collectibles throughout the world. Art. Furniture. Coins. Documents. Signatures. Cars. So on and so forth. You can scour the Internet for hours and never stop pulling up examples of people professionally engaging hobbies and collecting. Visit a local auction house. Talk to a professional.
And then answer this: Do they look like kids with a couple dozen likes on Instagram accounts dedicated to conspiracy?
They don’t. The best favor you can do for the hobby, yourself, our community, the community abroad, and the longevity of Pokémon as a legitimate non-sports collectible card series is to simply ignore people who deserve to be ignored. The only way they can possibly matter is if people give them their valuable time. And there are better ways to waste your precious hours on earth. You’re worth more than that. Just let them fade away. Everyone with any meaningful influence already has.
