They did it to TCA Gaming (formerly The Charizard Authority) a few years ago, so I wouldn’t put it past them.
EDIT: Saw you just edited that into your post. But yes. He was a major brand so it may have been different for him.

Ha I just added my edit the same time you replied
Wait my user on eBay is my username. ![]()
TCA Gaming is the only person I know of who this happened to, and he was/is a MAJOR brand, so you’ll probably be safe. But nothing is guaranteed with Pokemon, who is notoriously very strict with its IP.
Crap baskets now I’m worried lol
EDIT: I changed it on eBay which was the only other place besides E4 and Pokémon go where I use this username
Bummer lol
Changed it in Pokémon go too
I wish i could Instamorph into a Pokemon Master Set of Lost Origin
I guess you could spell it backwards like m… Ooohhhh. Well, maeteevee… naw it’s still vulnerable.
“teamveon” sounds pretty good.
Originally, I needed a quick gamertag for a tourney, and the X on Steelix was cool, so there ya go! But eventually, I really liked it, and I knew I wouldn’t have to worry about copyrights.
edit: Ironically, ‘Xileets’ has been used by some other accounts on some games. If you’re ever gaming online and you see “Xileets”, just like that, it ISN’T me… Name-nabbing guttersnipes… ![]()
I like the veon!
my Name here and on instagram Nanp90 is just short for Hernan-Pokemon-1990 lol I’m glad I went with the short version.
Yet another reason to justifiably hate on Meta. ![]()
My mind is blown. @xileets you rascal you’ve had me fooled for years
Brooo whatttttt
…this guy @xileets
I, too, have become enlightened now
This is now floating around. Seems they went after the use of the word Pokémon first and are now going after the Pokémon names and phrases. If I suddenly have a disappearance, you know what happened ![]()
They must’ve read where I said you have to do it all if you’re doing one. Eek.
Lucky Mew is not censored! Becos it’s an English word by itself! ![]()
How is it possible to trademark an English word in the dictionary?
MEW
4 of 5 noun (3)
1: an enclosure for trained hawks
—usually used in plural
2: a place for hiding or retirement
3: mews plural in form but singular or plural in construction chiefly British
a(1) : stables usually with living quarters built around a court
a(2) : living quarters adapted from such stables
b : back street : alley
Does this only gonna affect Instagram or also other sites like Twitter???
My nickname literally has the word “Omanyte” which is the name of a Pokémon. So, I’m kinda worried about the situation.
Should I modify it a bit???
