Watched Rattle’s newest video and he mentions the stolen gold star beasts being one of the largest scandals. I hadn’t heard about it so I searched YT to find his video about cardhouse_.
I think I have one of each beast from this stolen set.
In 2021 a man came into my LGS with pages full of each beast. The guy sold in 30 of each beast. I have a picture of one of the pages included in the conversation with my LGS
At this point a ton of the Gold Star Dogs in the market are these copies. There’s a video of binders and binders full of them. That’s part of why the price of these 3 lag significantly behind the other Gold Stars too.
Most copies on the market will be from that stolen set.
I’ll never not laugh at how this guy pulled this off and decided to actually post and advertise the crime instead of keeping quiet and slowly selling them
What accent is that? Is that a regional American accent?
It might actually be more uncommon to have non-stolen versions of these gold stars.
There was a guy in the discord last year who graded like 50-100 of each of them, all getting 8-10s. Wonder if its the guy from that video or if he bought from him.
