The only things I keep sealed are older theme decks like sun moon era and older
For me its based on the purpose of buying them. If I buy something for the purpose of keeping it closed then I generally stick with that. If I buy to open then I open when I get a chance… of course there are many times when I dont get a chance and sealed builds up but thats not necessarily an active choice of leaving it closed. Once this happens I weigh how much I want to open it vs how much its valued and decide if I want cards or money (with the hassle of selling).
I currently have lots of random sealed stuff and most of my deck collection.

I don’t, but I do have some sealed modern stuff because I bought it and then just didn’t open it (yet). No intentionality or direction to it, just wasting money.
