thanks to this forum i’ve learned about holo swirls, and “orion’s belt”, and orbs, and X’s, but what about strings of small orbs? are those also basically the orion’s belt pattern? some examples from my collection below. apologies if this is a dead topic that’s been covered six ways from sunday!! i really did try to dig around with the search function (and in the holo-pattern topic) to see if this has been discussed but i don’t even really know what to call the pattern that i’m seeing. they make me think of weedle!! but i would love to have a word to put to these lol, and to see some other examples

But they are not photos i have taken, they are scans using a cheap £30 printer/scanner combo.
The raw cards do come out really nice! I am still hoping to one day upgrade my scanner though.
The CCD lens the cheap ones use is no good for graded cards / anything that sits off the glass a little.
(The Porygon is an image provided by PSA, with a slight white balance / colour enhance)

these are all so great but the charizard and dragonite placements rlly pop!! also i agree your scans put my phone pictures to shame lol, these look so good
