Holo Scratches?

Are these holo scratches? i was planning on buying this, cracking it, and restoring it to try to get a psa 9

Wrong forum

Quite a lot of that lately

So depressing. Gtfo and tell all your friends this is disgraceful behavior.

There is no such thing as “restoring” Pokemon cards. Only altering.

Basically all bs2 holos have holo scratches

aha, but that’s before you “restore” them!

It won’t grade PSA9, not even with Kurt’s card prostate liquid splashed all above the surface. 100% I do not recommend, tried once and my card still stinks

You guys just dont understand or respect the HUSTLE!

It takes hours to search through ebay, scouring through seller listings for high quality cards that have the potential to be undergraded. Then risking all the shipping hassles! If you are all happy with leaving money on the table, thats your business and where Im from you might as well tattoo “Sucker” on your forehead.

Op, dont listen to the haters here! Bunch of squares who think having scratched set cards in binders is cool when they could be making life better for themselves if they learned how to leverage those junk cards into some really good investable cards. Psa is like the infinite money cheat right now, you can take almost any card and resubmit until you get a 10 (itll happen, trust the grind) and you dont even need to waste money on Kurts Scam Splooge, Ive only ever had to resubmit twice after reviewing the card to get upgrades.

For this card, you probably made a bad gamble but for the next one Im sure youll be able to make that cheddar and take it all the way to the bank!

Keep hustling bro!

Almost all Base 2 and Neo era holos will have factory print lines, even out of the pack. They’re kind of like scratches, except that it happens during the manufacturing process and not from playing the cards or handling them. This Charizard is a pain to get a PSA 10 on due to print lines, so the PSA 8s and 9s really pile up and the PSA 10 pop is quite low.

If PSA finds something wrong with the card after you resubmit it you might be screwed, maybe it’s best if you avoid cracking it and adding chemicals to it
