I just got a WCG gem mint 10 Michael Jordan. 1986 Rookie- Feel the game. 86 Signature series 23kt gold. And WCG gem mint 10 1996-1997 23kt gold Kobe Bryant Rookie-Purple signature limited edition about to upload pictures. Debating selling these to get more Pokemon cards for my collection. I need to know roughly what they are worth. Normally I don’t do price check threads but this one is a little out of my element thanks abunch guys!
Check these beautiful cards out and please let me know around what ball park im looking at if i sell imgur.com/a/Iwd5eDP
They look to be in the $10-15 range ungraded, although a PSA 10 of the Michael Jordan did sell for $150 - not sure that’d get a PSA 10 if a crossover/regrade was attempted. Kobe went for about the same in PSA 10, but quite some time ago and before his death.

@hypernova Thanks for taking the time and i feel both could cross over to PSa 10 but I had no idea how cheap these were. Are they over printed. Any history around these cards guys? If they are only worth this amount I might as well hold them. They are worth way more to me. I thought each would be thousands of dollars haha. A old school buddy knows I collect cards and basically gave them to me. My was I wrong haha
If those are authentic signatures and not reprints then they are definitely 4 figures each
How do I find out?
Definitely not authentic signatures - they’re printed on the card. Compare your cards’ signatures to the pics on the PSA website or eBay and you’ll notice they’re consistently the exact same.
Thank you. Now last main thing I need to learn if anyone can help is. Are these cards over printed? Why are they so old and perfect 10s with such low value?
I’m not a sports card expert but I’d say it comes down to a factor of desirability of the set, rarity of the card within the set, the sheer amount of product that’s available across multiple years, companies, and product lines, and yes, the amount printed. I’ve tried to poke my head into the sports card side of things before and the amount of stuff out there is just overwhelming. I can barely wrap my head around all the stuff that’s been printed for Pokemon (in English). Sports cards are on a whole other level.
That’s not a Jordan Rookie, and those signatures are not authentic. That’s a $30 dollar card.
So my guess is over printed?
You sure they’re not RE-prints?
I mean they might be they are graded cards so all the info is on the slab. I figured they would be worth a good amount and they clearly arnt. So what are they new? Or over printed. I have no idea. They are beautiful cards but it just has me so confused
that and no one wants a wcg graded card lol
I had never heard of the company either. And after looking around a ton i came to a few conclusions. 1. These were distributed already graded as 10’s. 2. There must be millions out there. Beautiful cards and i do really enjoy them. Just slightly disappointing they arnt worth much of anything. Also let me just say this would never happen to Charizard
You’re gonna be paying for the signatures more than the cards. Maybe look into how much other jordan signed merch is goin for
@hypernova I completely forgot about that one but it was a joke and ya I don’t bother collecting sports cards with the exception of every now and then my dad gives me some signed football cards when he goes to training camps. But regardless these Jordan and Kobe cards are sweet as hell so I’m not mad at all
