I think it’s not just the shiny vault…i found this zapdos the other day and it was different…wasn’t a reverse foil either…probably just a print error but i actually have a few of them…

All current reprints are textured? Looks kind of cool… Has anyone seen the bigger shinies/gx cards or even sv49 charizard with similar prints?
Those are textured to begin with…the non textured ones would be fake…
Same here, most of mine have the holo bleed. I think most of the stuff i’ve opened has been reprints since most of it has been tins.
@richi2rich, lol okay
i was actually really serious though. ^_^; So many fake burning shadows rainbow zards on ebay it’s hard to look through all of them. They’re all glossy without textures.
@richi2rich, I believe you.
So I’ve noticed this since last year with the newer packs of HF. Starting from the ultra premium collection seems like ALL the shiny have the texture holo on them this is including the newer reissue of the tins and the walmart GX collection boxes. the glossy cards I believe were from the HF ETBs but I could be wrong since some of the shiny’s I have gotten were from the ETB and are glossy.while the pins and the early tins probably are the normal ones.
This is an holo bleed error. Very common for SM era Holofoil cards. It’s actually harder to find one without holo bleed than with for most cards, and happens in the SM era for almost all holofoil types (including McDonald’s, Sequin, Water Web, Cosmos, Sheen, Mirror, etc.). Although the degree of holo bleed does vary quite a bit. Most only have minor holo bleed, so not as much as the amount of holo bleed your Zapdos has.
I think they changed some things about their printing process since the Sun & Moon era, since holo bleed, textured, and glossy errors seem to be much more common these days. There have been some examples in the past (i.e. Secret Wonders had a lot of holo bleed; XY Evolutions quite a bit as well; Pikachu Libre I can’t find without holo bleed in any language; etc.), but in the Sun & Moon era cards with holo bleed are easier to find than without.
And these glossy and textured errors are a new thing that didn’t occur previously, with the minor exception of Australian released Fossil/Jungle cards having a semi-glossy back (not as much as these SM era glossy errors, and definitely not as much as actual Japanese glossy promos, though).
