I don’t think you understand how hard a BGS 10 is to get. Eg. There have been 219 Sun and Moon cards graded with Beckett (the most of any set from XY onwards) and of those 219 there were 82 9s, 100 9.5s and 2 10s out of all cards graded. Just because you think your card can get a 10 based on the criteria doesn’t mean that it will, coming to the conclusion that your card is a 10 pristine is an overestimation because it is extremely unlikely … 102 cards 9.5 or better and two were 10s … 1.9607%.
You should just forget about value and send the cards in for some pre grading exp so you can see how your expectations match up with actual grading results.
Honestly the only way to tell is to send it in.
The card is a pretty good condition though, (right? this is when you answer) but yeah, those 10s are elusive…it will be a BGS 9.5 probably…but if its a 10 thats OK too!
If you are looking to resell you likely want to stick with PSA since it has definitely become the standard. Someone collecting a full set is most likely going to want them all graded by the same company. If your aim is to grade and flip them there isn’t much to be made on these unless they are 10 candidates. Remember that there is a cost to ship and get them graded. If you are looking to collect PSAs that you sent in yourself, that’s a different story.
Im looking to collect graded cards and nothing more. I chose BGS because they’re very strict about their grades so I can trust on getting a more fair grade.
My Volkner is a 10 candidate and Charizard is a 9 candidate (aint too bad)
