Hello fellow forum users, i am reaching out to all of you in “desperation” if that is what you can call this.
I have been looking for months for a single japanese cards that seems to be the hardest card of my collection to be found.
I am sure a lot of collectors are familiar with how hard the unlimited reverse holos from the sets L1,L2 and L3 are to find.
I am looking for an Unlimited Reverse Holo Wailmer from Clash at the Summit (L3) which seems to be impossible to find anywhere on the internet.
The only photo i was able to find is from a person on reddit that found it a few years ago, and shared the first picture in existence just as a record for future collectors. I have contacted them and they told me they found it years ago on this forum from a random kid.
If any of you have one or know where i can find one or can just help me look around, I would be super grateful!!!
You may also want to search using both English and Japanese terms, especially ホエルコ, 頂上大激突, ミラー, and unlimited / 1EDなし. Sometimes these cards are hidden inside bulk photos rather than listed by name.
normally, I’d search broadly for ホエルコ and check the photos manually too, instead of relying only on listings that mention アンリミ or unlimited. I guess for older Japanese cards, sellers may not always write the edition clearly. Anyways, good luck with your findings.
In Japan, “Unlimited” isn’t usually labeled as clearly as in English. Instead, collectors identify it by the absence of the “1st Edition” mark (1ED / 1stマークなし). So rather than searching for “unlimited,” you’ll get better results using terms that imply no 1st edition stamp.
Here are the most effective search variations you should try:
ホエルコ 頂上大激突 ミラー (Wailmer Clash at the Summit reverse holo)
ホエルコ L3 ミラー
ホエルコ ミラー 1EDなし (Wailmer mirror no 1st edition)
ホエルコ ミラー アンリミ (some sellers do use “unlimited” transliterated)
ホエルコ L3 ミラー PSA / BGS (in case graded copies exist)
