Hello everyone, i am going forward in my quest in finding every wailmer card there is on the planet, and i am now approaching to the world of old bandai japanese carddass.
I have stumbled upon this card during my lookouts, but i can’t seem to find any list in which this card is included.
Even in all the zukan cards lists, there is not mention of this card so i was looking for some help in identifying the set it is from and also maybe to find other zukans that may have wailmer in them.
I am looking for any card in which there is an illustration of wailmer. I saw that in the base sets of carddass there are puzzle cards in which wailmer is present, do you know where i can look to purchase them or just find a well done enough list?
For non-TCG, there aren’t as many established resources, so for some of these sets, you just kind of have to do your own digging. Just searching Wailmer on Mercari JP will find a good chunk of stuff, but other items may have small cameos that may not be mentioned. I can let you know if I run into any Wailmer cards in my searches And let me know if you need help navigating the Topsun Versus card resource.
One bonus is that I know there’s a Pokemon Weekly card with Wailmer:
Mercari JP is a very good suggestion thank you! I am not sure if i can purchase from that site, apparently it is blocked to japanese users only, but it is definitely an amazing place to find niche cards that i didn’t know existed. I saw those two on ebay as well, it’s just right now the are crazy overpriced, i am trying to find good deals around the internet
To purchase from Mercari JP, you’ll have to use a proxy site (e.g. Buyee, ZenMarket, etc.). I think you could probably get an idea of how proxys work somewhere on this forum, but not sure if we have a definitive guide (a good article idea if it doesn’t exist!). I’ve also been using a different proxy, Doorzo, recently that I’ll probably write a review for once I receive my next package (and have the time to write it all out).
If you’re going to go deep into non-TCG stuff, buying directly from Japan will save you a lot of money. But if you’re just going to buy one-offs here and there, you could probably do fine just with western marketplaces (e.g. Ebay, Mercari US). Just be aware of how fees, shipping, etc. work with the proxys, especially with the current tariff situation (if you’re in the US). And many people here have experience buying with proxys, so feel free to ask for advice.
