Hey everyone,
I’m curious if anyone else here has experience buying from SNKRDUNK.
I’ve been collecting Japanese Pokémon cards for over a decade, and after years of using Mercari and Yahoo Auctions and getting burned multiple times. I decided to give SNKRDUNK a shot.
Honestly, it’s been a game-changer. Their inspection process is crazy good — if the card doesn’t match the listed condition, they cancel the transaction before it even ships. I’ve bought mostly “A condition” singles, and 95% of them would easily grade PSA 10. So far, zero scams, zero returns, and basically zero stress.
I’m just wondering if others here have similar experiences — is SNKRDUNK becoming the new go-to marketplace for Japanese cards, or did I just get lucky?
Would love to hear your thoughts or horror stories if you’ve used them.
Used it recently for a relatively expensive graded card that I couldn’t find anywhere else.
Things went smoothly except for the fact that they send you a “status update” at every step of the way worded in such a way that you think there is an issue when there is none.
Upon inspection I was sent a picture of a tiny ding on the corner of the slab and was given the option to cancel the transaction.
Its a quite popular app for those near japan. Especially here in korea, numerous collectors have been using it the past year or so.
Personally I’m not a fan of them. However they have smoother transactions process and shipping compared to ebay or other western platforms here in korea. Maybe because we are more personally close to japan that people here see the benefits of snkrdunk over other platforms.
However i still pick ebay over them since I’m more familiar with them, snkrdunk became a thing like since 2023ish(?) Before that it was big sneaker resell platform just like stockx
It might be a little late for Halloween BUT I have one story:
One time I was browsing my favorite pokemon forum and came across an ad for the site, the fact that sites do this is scary. Well there’s your horror story have a good day:)
Haha sorry for the late reply! This is not an ad — I get why it might read like one but after using SNKRDUNK for a few months, I genuinely feel it’s the best place to buy Japanese cards from new releases.
