Has anyone else had a PSA experience like this?

Recently, I just got paid out $1600 from a PSA offer on a recent submission for a PSA 7 Lopunny GX Alt art.

Does anyone know how often does this happen and how does this happen? I assume its some type of computer error?

This offer was recieved on recent 7 card bulk submission that just got completed two days ago.

Didn’t get the grade I was expecting on most cards, but this offer made the whole submission worth it. The payment hit my account this morning so I can say at least PSA honors what they offer and this is an all time high for a psa 7 Lopunny GX (im hoping).

Cant see to closely right now if I have the right card but that card as a PSA 10 sold for 1600 4 days ago. More in line with a PSA 7 is 100+/-.

I think someone didn’t just accidently add a zero but a lil more too. Let me ask you, can they do a charge back of any sorts if the error is caught? If so I wouldn’t spend the money just yet. From a moral or ethical standpoint I would actually let them know.

I’ve seen 7s and 8s get higher offers than 9s, same submission too. They go off recent solds, so someone paid big for a PSA 7 and no other copies sold to accurately reflect the price.
With enough money and no morals, you could easily screw over the PSA offer system.

Nah, I wouldn’t worry about reporting that one. Considering their upcharge scam system easily recovers the money lost on this 1 error, its fine.

PSA offers are from partners of PSA, not PSA themselves. Probably was a whoopsie from a partner who miskeyed something.

If PSA wants to make it right with their partner I expect that would happen between them, you have your money and I would enjoy this “bank error in your favor” chance card.

Correct it was a partner offer. When i accpeted the offer, money was transferred right away from PSA and saw it this morning in my Bank.

Also the other cards shipped out this morning from this submission.

Just thought it was odd and seeing if this was a human error, system error, or PSA error.

I guess I could also assume a potential Broker with PSA might be one of the mystery repacks. I doubt a PSA 7 Lopunny is in demand.

There’s someone out there right now opening some crazy $2500 GameStop Power Pack and getting a PSA 7 Lopunny.

The offers are all just automated off of cardladder prices, and they notoriously freak out when there isn’t a cardladder price guide.

Theres this dude on youtube who grades bulk because PSA offers love to offer really high for things with no cardladder price

No clue what the actual automated logic is to somehow get to this valuation, I am really curious though

Brilliant, love it.

Good principles to have, but do you hold companies to this standard as well? Or just the average person?

Companies are run by people. Behind a company name is a decision maker, that decision maker I am well aware has to please someone, share holders for example. So I understand the muddiness of " just do the right thing " as the decision maker of a company. I cannot speak for anyone else but myself, but if I worked as the decision maker for a company that encouraged immoral or unethical behaviour …it would leave one in a bad spot I suppose. In this case though the individual has a decision to make, not the company. Where mercy is given mercy is shown. In other words while a company or a person may not deserve the mercy ( hey guys you made a mistake ), that does not mean it should not be given. Why, because based on the principles I live by, I deserved nothing either or first, I was given a gift.
