Deleted Instagram and really only watch Patreon SMpratte videos for my Pokemon news. As far as collection goals i have been slowly completing older setts. i believe I finished the SWSH era earlier this year so that was a huge accomplishment for me.
This year has been very hard for me mentally due to circumstances out of my control but I am doing the best I can with what I have.

Got my first big boy job. Took a break collecting pokemon and took a heavy focus collecting One Piece tcg. Although I was so close completing my 1997 carddass binder I might go back and finish that. I fear if I step into that world though the voices will take over and I’ll spend all of my disposable income on vintage pokemon and my wife won’t be happy.

My goals in the 2024 goals thread were as follows:
I am mostly done with English + Japanese Hoppips/Skiplooms/Jumpluffs, as I did take some time this year to do that large TCGPlayer order. I’m only missing around 4 cards, as far as I’m aware, and I’ll probably pick them up sometime before the year is over.
I’m also making good progress on the Expedition reverse holos, with about 113/165 completed. So hitting 75% complete before the end of the year should be very doable, as I still have some relatively cheap ones to acquire.
And I’ve already accomplished the third goal, which I am happy about. I’ve traded with a couple E4 members and with another random collector I met through Mercari US—all for non-TCG items. I’ve definitely enjoyed trading a lot and hope to initiate more trades, if possible, before the end of the year.
Overall, I am on a good path for accomplishing what I set out to do for 2024!

Slowly completing my Shadowless BGS 9.5 set by cross grading from misgraded PSA slabs. Not easy but very rewarding!

Also slowly grading low pop bangers from the early LOTR TCG sets (2001-2007) and getting LOTR autos from cast members !

Nothing too special thus far in 2024 tbh. I mostly did two things:
- I’ve kept up with new releases for some of my collections:
- English FA Supporters / Character Rares from the latest sets
- I’ve kept up with the English Pikachu cards; non-English (Indonesian/Japanese) exclusive Pikachu artwork; and Base Set reprints in all languages (which for 2024 arrivals were only the Simplified Chinese 25th anniversary/Celebrations and Korean Classics Collection Pikachu)
- Latest Seviper TCG cards (in Korean, T. Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, and S. Chinese), of which the last few are currently incoming to finally 100% recomplete my Seviper TCG collection in all languages again.
- I’ve bought loads of non-TCG Seviper stuff, as in 50+ new items, which has been my main focus this year. The most noteworthy items I added, some of which I had been looking for for over two years:
Japanese Battle-e promo card with Seviper and Cacnea:
Pokémon Center 2017 Look Upon The Stars campaign Umbrella:
The matte golden Metal Collection figure (two down, three more to find):
Four new colors I had only seen 0-2 times prior for Seviper for the Pokémon Kraks (just five out of fifteen available colors left to find):
So overall I’m pretty happy with how it’s going. I’ve been steadily finding more and more non-TCG Seviper items, and thus far there were barely any new Pikachu releases, so it wasn’t hard to keep up with those.

My 2024 goals were:
I can say that I did half of goal 2 and went to the Arita event in January and will be going to the one this month. Although, I haven’t submit any of those signatures to PSA due them having issues earlier this year.
I do have passes for Worlds, so I will be able to check off number 4
Lastly I was able to submit my raw Munch Mimikyu and finally have the whole set in PSA10s
I’ve been a bit behind on starting to do the ebay thing but hope to get to it in a little bit as well as pick up a couple more crystal cards. I’ve been a bit side tracked and have been picking up a lot of random things…
