I don’t think blowing up the image to identify imperfections is wrong, especially when acquiring an ungraded card. However, Gary does have a point; the card looks like every other PSA 9 unzoomed. In the future, always request pictures before you buy. This saves times on both ends. Also, don’t forget that a grade is also based on the front of the card. A lot of people forget about this and just focus on whether the card has any whitening on the back.

Yeah I really don’t have the money to be buying 10s so I’ll be sure to ask for pictures next time. And thanks for all the input guys it seems I was wrong in thinking this was an erroneous grade.

That’s what the forum is for There is nothing wrong with collecting 9’s and let me tell you 10’s are full of those too. There a lot of things that go into the grade and even 10s aren’t perfect
