I don’t think blowing up the image to identify imperfections is wrong, especially when acquiring an ungraded card. However, Gary does have a point; the card looks like every other PSA 9 unzoomed. In the future, always request pictures before you buy. This saves times on both ends. Also, don’t forget that a grade is also based on the front of the card. A lot of people forget about this and just focus on whether the card has any whitening on the back.

Yeah I really don’t have the money to be buying 10s so I’ll be sure to ask for pictures next time. And thanks for all the input guys it seems I was wrong in thinking this was an erroneous grade.

There is nothing wrong with collecting 9’s and let me tell you 10’s are full of those too. There a lot of things that go into the grade and even 10s aren’t perfect
