What? When did eBay allow you to see a year+ of sold listing data? This was never the case (at least not within the past decade and a half lol).

They changed it in 2019. I could go back up to a year on most items to see solds using watch count. Been using ebay since 2015. How did you never notice that archived solds/purchases/etc have been removed way sooner than what was normal back then. Was very easy for me to track something sold in feb + June to get a median idea of price in nov.

I don’t think that is true from what I remember. I did a quick search and here’s an ebay community discussion from 2015 that also states sold listings only go back 90 days: community.ebay.com/t5/Archive-Getting-Started/how-long-do-sold-items-stay-on-record/td-p/23674021

It’s always been 90 days as far as I can recall (and I’ve been on eBay since 2008). But I never used an external app; I’m just referring to if you use the “Sold Items” filter. If you’re referring to an external plug-in, then I have no clue, though. But the website itself (without a plug-in or the like) has never shown sold listings from more than 90 days back.

Sorry yes should of been more specific. The database had items show up to 2 years at one point on ebay if you searched thru 3rd party. Now they clear that out after 90 days.
