the jp ones are kinda interesting coz u have the umbreon + espeon that are prolly taking up half of the value of the whole thing maybe more 
would almost wanna pull those two out to see the value separately
also guessing those are the only 2 that are still worth more than the eng copies… there were others in the past like the other play promos, the gs dogs but the eng copies prolly have completely eclipsed them now

Some people are not signature bros-- it’s very subjective.
Personally, I’d pay less for a signature in most cases. I find it makes more sense to apply a signature to a plain card or one with less text to let the signature shine.
Makes sense , I would personally love a signature from Fakuda but definitely would only want to in person and personalized to me to make that even more special to me. If only he would allow signatures in person for some kind of event 
i am not sure about that tbh i like them but from my experience the higher value the card is already the lower the value the signature actually adds (and if the card is already crazy expensive the signature basically adds little to no value). without knowing the buyer i would personally just value them the same as normal unsigned copies

There have been trophies that have sold for less than others because they’ve received a signature
If he signs a random fodder card then it would add value. If you’re talking something in that upper echelon I would lean towards no, or at the very least you would need to find the correct buyer
well i doubt anyone would waste a sugimori sig on a psa 10 much less ones worth 5-6 figures so i guess we’ll never know
when u can instead have him sign a not mint jungle pika or something and turn a 50 cent card into like 30k+
and those were actually good signatures as well not like some voice actor or random influencer
PSA 9 last sold for 15k on Alt, after the Goldin 100k CGC 10 auction IIRC. CGC 10 still feels high in comparison to PSA 9,but that might be b/c of the scarcity in PSA 10, but people liking 10s on labels.
There was a period last year where it felt like CGC 10/PSA 9 were 1:1. Not a gold star, but Skyridge Umbreon in a CGC 10 sold for 10k today. Looks like it’s changing a bit
It is definitely changing for higher end cards but 117k was ridiculous

There’s a PSA 8 GS Ray on eBay auctions right now, currently at $24k which is inline with price trends. I wonder if it will exceed $30k.

I am watching this one too. I also watched a BGS 8.5 end on Goldin at $22.6 with buyer premium. So the $24 thus far on the PSA 8 is in line BUT may be close to topping. I do not think it will hit 30. But who knows in this market 
pristine is weird for some cards including this they go for way less than u would expect even tho they are almost certainly in better condition (it is likely because the pokebros are so psa-headed)

but the same thing would happen to any low pop vintage think hera, ampharos, blissey etc (even tho the cgc pristine pop is even lower)
