I feel that it’s a huge market inefficiency. Let’s see I can be wrong though. I imagine a good portion of cross collectors at least would want the big 3! Cross collectors also go for the complete set!

As a collector I’d choose everything but the Zard. But God owning a high grade 1st edition base zard sure would be nice! Kind of kicking myself for not buying at least a PSA 7 1st edition Zard while it was close to my budget last year. I refuse to pay more then a couple grand for a 7

Edit actually maybe I’d take the 10 zard and sell to downgrade to a Holo set of all 1st edition base set 9s. I don’t value 10s like everyone else does. Plus I’m the type if I find a flaw in a 10 I’d be upset. 10s are always way more expensive then 9s to the point where it’s never been worth it to me Personally…

Somebody mentioned the set then a lower graded Charizard. Why not a 9 graded complete set?

Pick the zard, sell for a full price then go bargain hunting with the influx of auctions over the coming months. Pick up alakazam for 10k, hitmonchan for 15k etc.

How many times have you successfully went from a psa 9 to a 10? Especially in the current environment with psa? I have heard of getting 9.5 but rarely ever (only one time) see a regrade to a 10?

Recognizing the Zard is almost unobtainable, I would still go with the rest of the set

I would pick charizard, assuming I could never sell the card and money isn’t the point. I just wouldn’t want to have a bunch of slabs of energy cards and trainers I otherwise have zero interest in. There are maybe under 20 cards in base set I would really want in a psa 10 and I weigh a single charizard above those 20 cards combined.
