Getting cards back from PSA safely

Hi experts, I sent a bunch of cards for grading back in May, and finally they got graded. However, the value of these graded cards have increased tremendously since I sent them in. I do not feel safe with PSA just shipping these out using their usual USPS or UPS tracked shipment. I suspect I am not the only one who perhaps has experienced this issue. If you did, how did you reduce the risk of a potentially disappearing/lost package? Please advise as this batch is worth a lot at this stage. Thank you.

Unless it is 20k worth of cards, there is not much you can do. I sent in 1st ed Base cards including Zard. They use their own account with the private shipping companies with their own kind of insurance on it. They are responsible for your cards until they are delivered. But believe me I’ve had a massive value shipment with them a couple times, and it always gets here safe.

There is no risk reduction. They don’t ship with USPS. Only business accounts with UPS and Fedex. I wouldn’t worry too much man. Anxiety can’t be helped, but at the same time, just know that you only will have to wait 2-3 days for your stuff to get back to you once it departs their facility.

Thank you. It’s worth quite a bit more than $20K at this stage. Hence the concern and the question.

@dragonroll it wouldn’t hurt to call and ask, but they will likely just give you a bureaucratic answer and say that it all must be shipped with their system. Funny enough, they charged me the same between a 5k order and a 15k order. It is what it is. Don’t worry, just keep the tracking pulled up on the paranoid-ready, on the day of delivery watch that front door of yours like a hawk! Read a book on the porch! :stuck_out_tongue:
