"Friends in..." cards

Now that there have been “Friends in” cards for several regions, Paldea, Hisui, Galar, etc., do you think they would ever go back to earlier gens like Kanto and Johto and make cards for those? I guess if Kanto were to have ever happened it would have been with 151…
I’m also not sure because the previous games didn’t have so many side characters that you ran into so often. But, it would be fun to speculate on who may be featured on the cards if they ever print them.

I think individually they look great, but if anybody has a binder page of all the current “Friends in” cards together I’d love to see how they look side by side! I haven’t played any later gen games so don’t have enough of an attachment to the characters to pick them up, although I may be able to persuade myself into a small side collection.

If they release the games according to those regions, they likely will

Friends in Alola → Sun & Moon
Friends in Galar → Sword & Shield
Friends in Sinnoh → Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
Friends in Hisui → Legends: Arceus
Friends in Paldea → Scarlet & Violet

… Friends in Kalos?

Yeah, I understand that the card releases coincide with the game releases

It’ll probably with the games, but it would be interesting to try to guess characters since the older games had smaller casts.
Kanto: Red, Blue, Green (Maybe Misty and Brock as a nod to the show)
Johto: Gold, Krystal (Maybe Silver if we count his post Victory Road realization about not being a prick. Maybe Jasmine, especially given how she seems to be friendly when she shows up in other games. )
Hoenn: Brendan, May, Wally (Maybe Mr. Briney and Peeko?)
Unova: idk how they’d handle the different cast between games. Also don’t remember any cast from my initial play though back on release
X/Y: no idea. Haven’t played

Side note, would be cool to get an “Enemies in…” card for the region with the main antagonist/team leader and whatever the mini bosses/high up team members with actual names are. I’d dig a card with Maxie/Archie and their admirals in 1 artwork

Friends in Unova: Bianca and cheren with Nate and Rosa; hilbert, Hilda, and N semi transparent on the side looking reminiscent

I like the idea of an Antagonists card, USUM one would be quite messy though.

What I’d like to see from each region is probably…

Kanto: R G B Y, but we won’t get Yellow since she’s manga only.
Johto: Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Silver. Maybe Eusine.
Hoenn: Brendan, May, Wally, Steven
Unova: Hilbert, Hilda, Nate. Rosa, Cheren, Bianca. Both protags. That’d be sweet.
Kalos: Calem, Serena. I don’t want all the rivals, there’s like 4 and they’re boring imo.
