Do you the print run of Forbidden Light having issues (i.e. shortages) like the run of Ultra Prism?
IF TCPI saw an increase in product sold/demand due to UP being on shortage/interrupted printing, they might have adjusted printing for FL to put some trust back into the market. But, you cannot assume anything. UP shortage is mainly due to the print error on Cyrus needing to be corrected and the print-queue being full, not a marketing decision.
I personally hope this continues with future sets until the mass saturation somehow stops. Keep putting Ultra Prism packs in the collection boxes, tins and all that other stuff and keep the booster box printing down.
Has anyone actually experienced a shortage for Ultra Prism?
my lgs has resorted to selling blister packs the last month, which sucks because they are a buck more than single packs from a box.
But in general I have yet to see a fixed Cyrus. Even new promo boxes still carry the original text on Cyrus.

I’ve also seen little to no addition of new product to any local stores around me. Same with people in neighboring cities. Just what little promo boxes and packaged singles were there for the past few weeks.
My friend owns a store and he said distrubuters keep saying there’s a shortage, but they still let them buy as much as they want.
Distributors seem to be the real winners of this inflated shortage that no one can confirm.

Probably because they didn’t want to order more. Distributors were not going any lower than $90 for businesses who normally paid $79 per box.
Either way they can buy them on ebay all day. There was actually a flash sale the other day that was cheaper than anything a distributor offers.
Keep in mind this is all US. I don’t know how everything works overseas with distribution. Either way this is entirely Distirbution controlling the supply.
