Fire, because many of my favorite Pokemon happen to be Fire types (Charizard, Houndoom, Arcanine, etc.).
Ice type, as well, because in the early games, Ice types were so hard to come by and you couldn’t get them until very late in the game. Also I have just always found their designs to be really cool.
Very true. Up untill the third gen Ice-types were kind of like Dragon-types in that they often featured in the Elite Four, were rare and were only found in the last regions of the games. Walrein also evolved at lvl. 44 which is later than (almost) any non Dragon-type.
I don’t think I’ve ever really thought about what my favourite type before is.
Thinking about it now, it probably changes between generations. Gen 1 would be Water and Fire due to my connection with starters and some of my other favourites like Arcanine, Ninetales and Starmie.
Then in Gen 2 that probably changed to Dark with Umbreon, Houndoom and Tyranitar.
Psychic get a honourable mention throughout with Alakazam, Mewtwo and Lugia then when Dragon came along, changed it up again.
As for cards, I really like the deep Psychic colour and Electric for clarity.
Tough call. Probably fire, water, and dragon. There are so many good water and fire types and my favorite starters are split evenly GFW. Dragon types still have that mythos I really like in Pokémon even though some like altaria don’t quite fit
I like fairy types. Shouldn’t take too much guesswork to see why.
Probably bird type
Poison and bug type have the coolest pokemon so without any other reason they are my favourite types, dark taking the third spot but being clearly behind the first two. I’m also surprised that dragon isn’t getting more votes, you’d think that the legendary/pseudo legendary masses would get more love

Indeed. No love for Bruno either (Rock/Ground/Fighting).
Ground and Grass types are my favourite as I’m big into nature and the outdoors. There is so much variation in grass Pokémon design which is awesome
For me, it’s definitely Water. I’ve loved Squirtle ever since my very first playthrough, and that initial fondness sparked a lasting appreciation for all Water-type Pokémon that continues to this day.
Water is definitely my favorite, with my second being flying. Apparently I don’t like anything on the ground 
Water type favorite, however Grass type is my favorite energy
