Fake purple back Rocket first edition cards?

Hi all,

I’m new on this forum. Don’t know where to post this exactly. Could you please help to determine whether this light purple back card is fake? I’ve received several of them from a seller who bought it more than 5 years ago. All ‘purple back cards’ feel real. I can’t detect any errors on the front. I’m really surprised. Looking from the side, the card appears to have the black film layer in the middle. I ordered a magnifying glass so I can look more carefully tomorrow. Does anyone know whether different light purple shaded card variations exist due to printing differences? I can make more/better pictures to solve this mistery. Looking forward to hear your replies. Thank you!

Both cards look real. When you print a million of those common cards, a few will have different colours.

You have colour tolerances in offset printing, so there will be variations.

Thank you for the quick replies. I do see kind of a black layer in the middle of the card using a 45x magnifying glass. Then I guess it’s safe to assume that the colour difference is indeed due to the printing.
