No. Though for domestic you might worry past 7-10 business days. A lot of times it comes in 3-5.
You can pay for services that guarantee it. But even those don’t guarantee it so much as guarantee “an attempt” excluding overnight.

So then why the hostility with buyers?
If you live close enough in the USA (same state or maybe between neighboring states) a regular or small padded envelope with toploader may get to recipient within 2-3 days. Especially with priority mail. Key word is “may”.
Pure impatience. Nothing more. Nothing less.
I’ve had a few impatient buyers lately. I had one today. I feel like people take advantage of the fact they can leave a negative feedback for no reason.
A buyer bought a full art card last night. Post office is closed and I’m at class today. I won’t ship it until this afternoon. It hasn’t even been 24 hours and this is what they said to me.
“Wondering why my item hasn’t been shipped yet, I paid asap.”
@hisoka107 I have no words, some people are too impatient.
I have another guy who is mad at me because I delayed his order on a dvd. I don’t have many dvds so they are locked up in a shed. I didn’t have the key until Tuesday and the item was purchased Sunday night. Then there was something else wrong with the order and all that person says is thank you for the problems.
First waiting 2 days for an item to ship when my description says 2-3 days for shipping. It’s not my fault people never read the damn descriptions. Second is if you don’t tell me what the problem is I can’t help you. I Don’t complain when it takes a few days to ship from amazon. I don’t like ebay and I wish there was an alternative. It’s definitely not friendly for the sellers.
I always mark as shipped immediately, even if it takes me another day to ship. I print my labels the same day either way. So it’s not worth dealing with people whining.
^I do that too. But if it takes me 1 day or 1.5 days to actually get the item out, people STILL complain that the tracking hasn’t updated yet. I honestly don’t think anything stops the complaining.
When I read stuff like this I know why I’ve never sold anything on eBay.
If a card has not arrived after a month then I’ll send the seller a message.
Before that… I’m not worried.
I almost always throw in extras. That usually keeps my customers pretty happy ![]()
