European distributor pricing on sealed product

As the thread title says; any of my fellow Europeans can help me out with their distributor pricing?

An opportunity has come for me to end my vicious cycle of unemployment and going in and out of welfare by opening my own store with help from the municipal government and a local small business investor group as part of a project to attract new stores and business to my city center.

Since I have no access to any distributor I can only guess the European pricing. For my business case I have/want to be able to have accurate example prices and margins yet I cannot provide them due not having access to them. Guessing them based on known US$ prices is not the best way to go.

I can understand nobody wants to be open and all about what they pay for their product, so private messages are also very welcome.

Pricing I am after:
Booster Box pricing (or per case)
Starter Box pricing (or per case)
and speciality product (e.g. Shining Legends (per box or per case) and/or any recent EX box (per box or per case))

If you got access to those prices for e.g. Yugioh; would love to get them as well.

Any additional info you can/are willing to pass over are very welcome and highly appreciated.

You should be able to call a distributor and get this pricing directly. Tell them this exact situation that you don’t yet have all the proper licensing, but what would the introductory pricing be for X,Y,Z levels of monthly spending as you need that information to make your business cases.

Not sure where exactly you are, but I used this list right from Pokemon.com to get me started a few years back. I reached out to GTS and Madal specifically as I am in the US and they were very helpful at getting me a lot of information on initial product costs, pricing breakpoints, necessary paperwork to use them as a distributor etc.

I know who the distributors are in the Netherlands and the BeNeLux and I’ve had e-mail contact with them before but they are really unapproachable. Since I don’t have the business license they really holding back on giving out information. Also, it really sucks that 90% of the European market is under ‘control’ of the same distributor making it really hard to see if there is an alternative.

Ah that sucks. How hard is it to obtain licensing in the Netherlands? For me in the US it only took a couple weeks and less than $100 to get the proper licensing (in NY, USA all it requires is a DBA and sales tax certificate).

It’s not that hard at all, but my limited funds for past months withhold me from obtaining it. More important to be able to pay bills, than get the business license to get price info and such. If I remember correctly from top of my mind, it costs something around 75€ and will take 10 business days to get the procedure done.
